As an independent (non-network affiliated) TV station, 7 WMAK airs syndicated programs like The People's Court, Judge Mathis and Family Feud as well as recent and classic movies. 7 WMAK's transmission tower is located on Sharps Ridge just north of downtown Knoxville, and the broadcast signal covers all of the East Tennessee viewing area.
